What counts as an emergency
- Active burst pipe, riser failure, or supply-line rupture
- Sewage backflow into showers, toilets, or floor drains
- Severe water heater leak — especially storage-tank rupture
- Gas line smell or suspected leak (we coordinate with the gas operator)
- Whole-home loss of water or hot water on weekends and holidays
- Major water ingress threatening electricals or finishes
What to do while we are en route
- Isolate the water. Close the main stop valve at the unit or property boundary. For high-rise, this is usually inside your utilities cupboard.
- Cut the power to wet circuits. If water has reached sockets or appliances, switch off the affected MCBs at the consumer unit.
- Contain & document. Place towels or buckets, take photos for your insurer, and note the time you discovered the issue.
- Stay on the line. Our dispatcher will brief the crew with the photos and details you send.
