Frequently askedStraight answers, before you book.
Nine of the questions homeowners ask us most often. If yours is not here, drop us a note on the contact page — we will reply within the working day.
What types of plumbing work do you cover?
Most things a homeowner runs into — taps, mixers, toilets, water heaters, drain blockages, pipe leaks (visible and concealed), kitchen and bathroom plumbing, gas-line scares, and end-to-end bathroom renovations. If we cannot do it ourselves we will tell you straight away and recommend a specialist.
Are your technicians licensed?
Every Turboniq plumber holds the relevant Suruhanjaya Tenaga or SPAN licence for their trade. The company carries public liability insurance on all jobs. We will share licence copies on request before the visit.
Do you handle 24/7 emergencies?
Yes — and a real Turboniq dispatcher answers the emergency line at every hour. Target arrival time for live emergencies within Klang Valley is 60 minutes. Standard call-out rates apply by time of day; after-hours surcharges are disclosed before dispatch.
How do you price a job?
We quote in writing before any work starts. For a typical home visit, a senior tech will scope the work on arrival, present a fixed price, and only proceed once you sign. Site visits for confirmed renovation enquiries are free. Detailed leak detection or building-management surveys carry a flat fee, credited if you proceed.
Which areas do you serve?
Our core service area is the Klang Valley: Kuala Lumpur city, Petaling Jaya, Subang Jaya, Shah Alam, Ampang, Cheras, Damansara, Mont Kiara, Bangsar, Cyberjaya, Putrajaya, and Klang. For renovation projects we will travel further on request.
Do you supply materials?
Our service vans carry a wide range of common fittings, isolation valves, and brand-name parts. For larger items — sinks, mixers, water heaters, sanitaryware — we will recommend options inside your budget and supply them with full warranty. You are also welcome to source your own.
What guarantee do you give?
Standard repairs: 12-month workmanship guarantee. Renovation projects: 24-month workmanship guarantee on the build, plus the manufacturer warranty on every supplied fixture. If we get a call back due to our work, we sort it without invoicing.
Will the same crew come back if there is a follow-up?
Yes. We dispatch the original tech wherever possible so you do not have to explain the history from scratch. Schedule permitting, it is the same name on the booking the second time.
How do I pay?
Cash, online transfer, or credit card on completion. For renovation work, the schedule of payments is itemised on the quote — typically a 30% deposit on go-ahead, 40% at the half-way milestone, and 30% on final hand-over.
